Man shoots, kills home intruder in Frankfort

FRANKFORT, Ind. (WISH) — Officials are investigating following the fatal shooting of a home intruder.
It happened just after 10 p.m. in the 300 block of North Bunnell Street after a man called in to report that he had shot an intruder.
Officials arrived on scene and attempted life-saving procedures on the intruder and also detained the shooter.
37-year-old Kevin Huffer died as a result from his injuries.
The case remains an active death investigation.
