Marion Police Department investigating armed robbery at Credit Union

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Marion Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that happened at a local Credit Union.

According to a release from Crime Stoppers, the armed robbery happened at Partners First Credit Union located at 204 West 30th Street. Monday at 10 a.m.

The suspect is described as a black female and a little over 5 feet tall.

Authorities said the suspect was wearing a hooded sweatshirt or jacket, a hat and large dark sunglasses.

They said she pointed a silver firearm at one of the tellers and demanded money.

Police said after receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled on foot west on 30th Street.
