MILWAUKEE (WISH) – A fundraiser for the Wisconsin Humane Society offered customized artwork of your furry companion however the drawings would be created by non-artists.

A post on the organization’s Facebook page offered the art for a $15 donation but told potential donors “we are a whole lot better at caring for animals than we are at drawing them.”

Shelter staff and volunteers would stand in as the artists.

The organization closed down the offer after receiving an overwhelming response. As of Thursday, the post on social media had received more than 1,600 comments and over 600 shares.
