Officers respond to armed robbery at FACE Low-Cost Animal Clinic

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Officers responded to an armed robbery of the FACE Low-Cost Animal Clinic Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, dispatch received a call about a robbery in progress at the animal clinic at approximately 5:45 p.m.

After arriving on scene, officers learned that two men entered the establishment with black handguns and demanded money from the employee at the front desk.

The suspects were described as black males, being approximately 6’0″ tall and were wearing gray hoodies, blue jeans and black ski masks at the time of the robbery.

Police say the employee then emptied the cash register and the suspects then fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

There were no injuries involved in the incident.

The robbery remains under investigation.
