Pence names Michigan consultant to review 2015 ISTEP
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Gov. Pence named Edward Roeber, of Michigan, on Tuesday as the consultant who will review and make recommendations to the Office of the Governor, the Indiana Department of Education and the Indiana State Board of Education.
This announcement comes less than 24 hours after the Governor signed an executive order to shorten the test.
McGraw Hill is the vendor for the 2015 ISTEP test and they have expressed support to work with the consultant to shorten this year’s test.
The state cost for the contract that was effective Monday is $22,000.
