Plainfield man found dead in southern Indiana pond
DUBOIS COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — A death investigation is underway after a man was found by family members in a pond north of Jasper.
Conservation with the Department of Natural Resources said 43-year-old Kenneth Gauker of Plainfield was found in the shallow end of a private pond near County Road 600 North in Dubois County.
The body was discovered on Wednesday evening. An autopsy was conducted Thursday morning.
Investigators said no foul play is expected. It has not known how or why he entered the water.
