Scattered storms possible Sunday night

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We had a few showers early Sunday morning and are now seeing lots of clouds around the area.

A few showers and even thunderstorms may pop later Sunday evening. Temperatures will stay in the lower 60s. 

The Storm Prediction Center has scaled back the threat of severe weather. All of Indiana is under a marginal risk There’s still a small chance any thunderstorm that pops later Sunday evening may be on the stronger side.

The threat for scattered showers and storms continue during the late evening hours. 

Monday morning we may see a few showers left over, especially from Indianapolis southward.

Temperatures will be in the upper 50s. The best chance of rain Monday will be early in the day and south of Indy. The rain chances begin to decrease as the day continues. 

Look for mostly cloudy skies Monday with highs in the lower 70s. 

Sunshine returns Tuesday with highs in the upper 60s. 

Showers and storms return later in the week. Temperatures fall back into the 50s for the end of the workweek and next weekend.
