Spotty storm chances heading into the weekend

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Isolated storms chances through the weekend with seasonally average temperatures.

TONIGHT: A cold front will push through the state which will bring scattered storm chances this evening into the night time hours.

Although there is no severe threat with these storms, damaging winds, along with heavy downpours can be associated with some cells. Rain chances should move out shortly after Midnight. The overnight low will be 68°.

TOMORROW: Plan for a beautiful start to the day with partly cloudy skies and temperatures hitting 70° by 8 AM. Developing cloud cover throughout the day will keep highs in the mid to low 80s.

An isolated shower can pop up in the late afternoon hours. Storm chances can mainly be focussed for the southern half of the state.

SUNDAY: Isolated storm chances continue through Sunday with a high of 84°. With less cloudiness during the day, we could see some more storm activity than Saturday.

The best chance for these showers and storms to occur will be in the evening.

8-DAY FORECAST: Drier air will return for the start of the work week. On Tuesday, we will experience a blast of summer heat as the high spikes to 88° before falling to the low 80s again for Wednesday.

Storm chances return Wednesday as well and will stick around for the second half of the week. Highs will remain in the low 80s through Saturday.
