State Police remember those killed in the line of duty

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indiana State Police troopers gathered Wednesday to remember those killed in the line of duty.

A special ceremony was held at the ISP Memorial behind the Indianapolis post.

The names of all 43 state police personnel killed in the line of duty were read aloud. There was also a 21-gun salute.

The ISP Memorial is open to visitors on weekdays. It is located on 21st Street, just west of Post Road.
