Stray morning showers with a dry and warm afternoon
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A few light sprinkles Monday morning with temperatures in the upper 50s! Showers will move out mid-morning with mostly cloudy skies. Highs will warm to the lower 70s, running a good 9° above the seasonal high.
Clouds will clear out Monday night with lows cooling to the lower 50s.
Tuesday will be a pleasant afternoon with a sunny sky and high running warm, hitting the upper 60s.
Wednesday will be a day of change with highs slowly cooling to the upper 50s with a mostly cloudy sky. Late showers are possible with our next potent low-pressure system. Scattered showers should move out overnight with a cloudy and dry start to Thursday.
Thursday will be a gusty day with highs returning to the upper 60s with a few spotty showers and storms during the afternoon. Storms will stick around through the overnight and early Friday morning with winds still howling. Once the cold front passes, it’ll shift winds out of the northwest dragging in colder air for the rest of the workweek and weekend, only allowing highs to warm to the mid-50s for Friday and this weekend.
