Sun King celebrates grand opening of Carmel distillery, taproom, food hall

CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) – Sun King is celebrating the grand opening of its new taproom, distillery and food hall in Carmel. 

Sun King Spirits is at 351 Monon Blvd. in the city’s Midtown section. 

In addition to two bars serving up Sun King’s beers and spirits, the 15,000-square-foot space houses three restaurants: Oca, La Mararita and Pi. 

Oca is also located in Sun King’s Indianapolis taproom and was developed by the owners of Goose the Market and Smoking Goose. Their menu includes snacks like Bavarian pretzels, Charcuterie, sausages and sandwiches. 

Pi serves brick-oven pizza and seasonal salads. 

La Margarita is known for its location in Fountain Square offering Mexican food. 

The distillery also features a rooftop patio and outdoor seating.
