‘Till We Meet Again’ stream to try and help save Indiana music venues

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – This weekend, a virtual tribute aimed at saving Indiana music venues will stream online.

Local musicians and celebrities are working to raise support for venues facing possible permanent closure because of the pandemic.

The president of MOKB Presents and the Indiana Independent Venue Alliance Josh Baker as well as Indianapolis singer-songwriter Chris Shaffer were both on Daybreak Friday.

The Indiana Independent Venue Alliance includes places like Hi-Fi, the Vogue and the Bluebird.

Shaffer, who will be one of the performers during Sunday’s stream, discussed what it means for him to take part in the event.

Baker also talked about how much and far the support shown Sunday will go.

The stream is happening Sunday, May 17 from 6-8 p.m.
