Tracking Sunday evening storms
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Part of the state remains in a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 8 pm. The main threats will be damaging winds near 60 mph.
These winds have already produced damage around central Indiana. Trees are reported down west of Indianapolis and also in Greenwood.
SUNDAY NIGHT:
The main line of strong storms will exit the state shortly after 8 pm. A few spotty showers may linger overnight. Lows will stay in the upper 60s close to 70.
MONDAY:
Much of the day Monday will be dry but showers and a few thunderstorms are possible later in the afternoon. Some of the storms may be on the stronger side with gusty winds and heavy rainfall.
We’ll see partly cloudy skies with highs in the upper 70s.
TUESDAY:
It looks like we’ll get a much needed break from the rain Tuesday! Look for mostly sunny skies and highs in the middle 80s. It’s going to be more humid but perfect for a day at the pool.
8 DAY FORECAST:
The sunny streak will continue on Wednesday and Thursday, with temperatures in the mid to upper 80s. Clouds return on Friday, leading to the start of potential storms for your weekend. Temperatures will remain in the mid 80s next weekend.
