Truck collides with IndyGo bus, 12 injured
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Authorities are investigating after an IndyGo bus crashed into a vehicle on the city’s northeast side Monday night.
The crash happened just after 10:00 p.m. on East 38th Street and North Shadeland Avenue.
The bus was going west when it was struck by a pickup truck.
Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the accident,
None of the 12 injuries suffered from passengers on the IndyBus were life threatening.
The driver of the pickup truck suffered lower leg injuries and was transported to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi for further evaluation.
