Warming up this week; snow possible this week

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The warming trend continues this week, but rain could turn into light snow on Saturday.

Monday night
Clouds and temperatures will decrease Monday night. Expect mostly clear skies and colder conditions overnight. Overnight low temperatures will fall to the 20s before sunrise. 

Tuesday
Mostly sunny, dry and slightly warmer conditions are expected by Tuesday afternoon. Temperatures will remain below normal (normal for this time is 56 degrees) but comfortable.

Tuesday night:
Colder air sinks into the state as a few high, thin clouds develop overnight. Low temperatures will fall to the upper 20s.

Wednesday: 
Wednesday will be the best weather day of the week with much warmer afternoon temperatures, warming to near 60 degrees. It will be mostly sunny and pleasant ahead of our next chance for rain.

Thursday:
Expect a mainly dry Thursday with a few isolated showers, mainly north of Interstate 70. It should be breezy and warmer with high temperatures in the mid-60s.

Eight-Day Forecast:
Scattered showers will bring wet weather to the forecast Friday. Damp and mild conditions are expected Friday with highs in the low 60s. As temperatures fall throughout the day on Saturday, rain will transition to light snow late.
