Woman arrested after police say she stabbed ex after fight
LEBANON, Ind. (WLFI) – A Lebanon man is recovering Wednesday morning after police say his ex-girlfriend stabbed him following an argument.
According to 24-Hour News 8 sister station, WLFI, officers were called Tuesday afternoon to Kise Estates Apartments, located on Lafayette Avenue in Lebanon, where they found 21-year-old James Mossburg suffering from stab wounds to the abdomen.
Medics took Mossburg to Witham Hospital, but he was later transferred to Indianapolis. As of Wednesday morning, Mossburg was listed in serious condition.
Police arrested 24-year-old Autumn Copeland, also of Lebanon. She was booked into the Boone County Jail on preliminary charges of battery with a deadly weapon, battery causing serious bodily injury and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.
The investigation remains ongoing, according to Lebanon police.
