Chile has many destinations that you will want to add to your travel list. Santiago as a mega city but beautiful location, Vina del Mar, and Valparaiso as coastal paradises, Antofagasta as a growing hotbed on the coast, and San Pedro de Atacama for being one of the most gorgeous locations on the planet. We loved our time in Chile as we started off on this journey around the world. We still have many friends from our time in this beautiful country as well as fond memories of climbing steep mountains, walking along gorgeous coastlines, and dancing the night away in the bars. We will definitely be back again someday to take it all in again. Spanish is the official language in Chile but it’s not your normal Spanish. Public Transportation is very good but can be confusing. Sundays are very quiet in Chile. Very few businesses are open. Find the Santiago, Chile [Top Things to Do in 2018] in this great guide.  Spicy Chile Walking Tour was a fantastic way to see the city!  Valparaíso and Viña del Mar are found along the Central Chilean Coast and have very different vibes.  Here is a video of the gorgeous beach near Vina del Mar.  The graffiti in Valparaiso is unbelievable and some of the best we have seen anywhere in the world. After traveling to Argentina, we spent time in Puerto Varas, Chile (Travel Guide 2018).  Antofagasta, Chile was a cultural treat as the people gave us insight into the ways of the Chilean people.  San Pedro de Atacama is a highlight in our Journey So Far.
