INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – There will be Big Ten football this season, after all.

This comes after the conference’s Council of Presidents and Chancellors voted unanimously in favor of playing football, reversing their earlier decision to cancel the season.

According to the Big Ten, the conference has adopted “significant medical protocols.”

The Big Ten football season will get underway on the weekend of Oct. 23 and 24.
