Storms return Monday
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — One last day of Summer warmth will also bring a chance for strong storms Monday evening.
Monday:
Much of the day will be dry, breezy and warm, with partly cloudy conditions. Highs top out in the lower to middle 80s.
Monday night:
Cold front will bring a line of storms in from Illinois by early evening. A few storms could be strong to severe, with damaging winds the primary concern, although some hail and even an isolated tornado can’t be ruled out. Storms should clear the area near Midnight.
Lows fall to the upper 50s.
Tuesday:
Mostly sunny and slightly cooler, but still well above average. Highs top out in the middle 70s.
8 day forecast:
Temperatures will remain warm through the middle and end of the week. System will bring rain to the area starting Thursday into Friday, followed by closer to normal temperatures for the weekend into early next week.
