Crews respond to gas main leak in Plainfield

PLAINFIELD, Ind. (WISH) – Police and fire crews responded to an active gas main leak Friday afternoon in Plainfield.

The incident started just before noon Friday in a construction zone at Carr Road and Township Line Road.

The Oak Park and Blackthorne Neighborhoods were evacuated due to the leak.

Officers blocked traffic around the immediate area.
