Clothing line aims to help kids in need

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Two Hoosier women have created a new and unique line of clothing that helps kids in need.

Co-founders of Zella Mae Inspirations, Tashina Baer and Brooke Fattal stopped by 24-Hour News 8 at noon to explain how the clothing line pairs a passion for fashion and philanthropy and how they came up with the idea.

The company, Zella Mael Inspirations, launched in April selling fashion shirts, tanks and bags with sayings like ‘Live your Dream’, ‘Radiate Positivity’, ‘Love your Life’ and ‘Good things are going to happen’, the cousins’ motto, “Wear Happy, and Share Happy.”

When an item is purchased one Share Happy shirt is donated to a charitable organization.

The donated shirts read, ‘I am brave, strong, smart, kind and awesome.’

Zella Mae is sold online and in select retail locations:

  • The Tulip Company & More, Terre Haute, IN
  • Modern Charm Terre Haute, IN
  • Tatum’s Place Boutique Marshall, IL
