WISH-TV and MyINDY-TV the new home of Chicago Blackhawks hockey

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — WISH-TV’s President and General Manager Les Vann today announced a new broadcast partnership with WGN Sports which includes the live broadcast of 19 hockey games during the 2015-2016 season, beginning Oct. 10.

“We’re proud to bring the winning tradition of Blackhawks hockey to WISH-TV and MyINDY-TV,” said Vann.  “The team has won the Stanley Cup three of the last six years and sold out every home game for the last seven seasons. Central Indiana viewers now have a front row seat to hottest team in professional hockey.”

Fresh off a 2015 Stanley Cup win, the Blackhawks have been called a modern dynasty, also winning championships in 2010 and 2013.  With top NHL player Jonathan Toews signed through the 2022-2023 season, the Blackhawks hold the NHL record for attendance averaging over 21,000 in attendance per game.2015-2016 SCHEDULE
