Fourth annual pinball tourney in Fountain Square

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – La Margarita in Fountain Square held the fourth annual Pinball Classic on Saturday.

The owners closed the restaurant for the day, and brought in more than 20 pinball machines to host the event.

“There’s not a lot of places to play a lot of pinball. You go to Chicago, and there are a few actual arcade bars, and that’s a thing. We kinda started this because we were nostalgic about it, so we’re like, well, we’ve got a restaurant, let’s try to get a hold of all these people that have pinball machines. It’s been weird man, but it’s been fun,” said John Rangel, with the restaurant.

The tournament had 48 players. While the restaurant only owns one pinball machine, the other machines were donated by collectors for the tournament.
