IUPD investigating body found in Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) — The Indiana University Police Department was investigating Tuesday after a man’s body was found on the north side of campus.

Lt. Craig Munroe with IUPD said the body is a former temporary employee of the university and not a student. Full identification had not been made available Tuesday morning.

Munroe said the body was discovered just after 8 a.m. Tuesday near the 45/46 Bypass and Fee Lane.

Munroe said there were no signs of foul play but the department was continuing to investigate.

The Monroe County Coroner’s Office was also working on the case.
