Vacant Lawrence home burns in early morning fire
LAWRENCE, Ind. (WISH) – Fire crews and police were on the scene of a house fire in Lawrence early Tuesday morning.
The fire started at at home at East 52nd Street and Richardt Avenue around 4:40 a.m.
According to the City of Lawrence Fire Department, they believe the home is vacant but it’s possible squatters were in the home.
Firefighters were checking the structure again for possible people inside.
