IMPD asking for public’s help to find murder suspect
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis police are asking for the public’s help to find a murder suspect.
Police say Juan Zabala shot and killed 30-year-old Cristal Avilez on Nov. 20, 2015.
Her body was found in a vehicle near Washington Park, in the area of North Lasalle Street and East 31st Street.
An arrest warrant was issued for Zabala in January. He’s described as a Hispanic man, 5 foot 6 inches tall, 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
