Church hosting Operation: Safe Surrender
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — People with outstanding warrants have an opportunity to resolve those cases in a church.
The initiative is called Operation: Safe Surrender.
Anyone with an outstanding warrant for a level six felony or misdemeanor in Marion County can participate.
Folks can show up at the Messiah Missionary Baptist Church on Thursday and have the warrant reviewed and potentially resolved without arrest.
Operation: Safe Surrender will take place Thursday from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Messiah Missionary Baptist Church is located at 5640 East 38th Street.
