Celebrity, VIP lineup for IPL 500 Festival Parade
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Movie and TV stars, musicians, athletes, Hoosier heroes and racing legends will be downtown Indianapolis on Saturday for the 60th Indianapolis Power & Light 500 Festival Parade.
The celebrities include:
- Emma Stumpf: Inspirational teen and philanthropist – Will serve as the Grand Marshal
- Walk Off The Earth: platinum-selling pop group – Will headline the Parade’s opening entertainment
- Roger Penske: IndyCar icon – Will drive pace car for 100th running of Indianapolis 500
- Kevin Sorbo: Received international stardom as the lead role in Hercules – Celebrity scheduled to participate in this year’s celebration
- Myles Turner: Selected by the Indiana Pacers with the 11th overall pick in the 2015 NB Draft – Celebrity scheduled to participate in this year’s celebration
- Nick Gehlfuss: Known to his fans as Dr. Will Halstead on the hit NBC medical drama, Chicago Med – Celebrity scheduled to participate in this year’s celebration
- David Anspaugh: Emmy and Golden Globe winner director for St. Elsewhere and Miami Vice – Celebrity scheduled to participate in this year’s celebration
- Drew Lynch: First runner-up on season 10 of America’s Got Talent – Celebrity scheduled to participate in this year’s celebration
- David Boudia: Noblesville native and Olympic diver at the 2012 London Olympics – Celebrity scheduled to participate in this year’s celebration
- Joe Reitz: Hoosier native a guard for Indianapolis Colts – Hoosier hero
- Richard Rawlings: Star of The Discovery Channel’s TV show Fast N’ Loud – Celebrity scheduled to participate in this year’s celebration
- Josh Kauffman: Indianapolis native, winner of the sixth season of The Voice – Celebrity scheduled to participate in this year’s celebration
- John Tibbs: Award-winning Christian recording artist – Celebrity scheduled to participate in this year’s celebration
- Lieutenant General Joseph Anderson: Serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff, Headquarters, Department of the Army – Hoosier hero
- Major General Courtney P. Carr: Leads the Indiana Army and Air National Guard – Hoosier Hero

The IPL 500 Festival Parade is one of the nation’s largest and most respected parades. More than 300,000 people will attend the parade and witness the larger-than-life floats, giant helium balloons, celebrities, all 33 drivers competing in the 100th running of the Indy 500, specialty units, and award-winning bands from across the country.
The 2016 IPL 500 Festival Parade will take place on Saturday, May 28, with parade festivities starting at 11:45 am.
