3 firefighters injured battling large Shelbyville business blaze

SHELBYVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — Several firefighters were hurt while battling a large business fire Sunday evening in Shelbyville.

It started around 8:30 p.m. at Knauf Insulation, near State Road 9 and N. Michigan Road.

Three firefighters were injured when a stack of insulation about 20 feet by 20 feet fell on them, according to Shelbyville Fire Department Chief Tony Logan. The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
