GOP announces convention program
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WANE) – The Republican National Committee has released details of the 2016 Republican National Convention.
The RNC is set to begin in Cleveland Monday and end on Thursday.
Themes and headlines are as follows:
- Monday – Make America Safe Again
Speakers: Melania Trump, Lt. General Michael Flynn (ret.), Senator Jone Ernst (R-IA), Jason Beardsley, and U.S. Rep. Ryan Zinke (R-MT)
- Tuesday – Make America Work Again
Speakers: Tiffany Trump, Kerry Woolard, Donald Trump, Jr., Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV), Ben Carson and Kimberlin Brown
- Wednesday – Make America First Again
Speakers: Lynne Patton, Eric Trump, former speaker of the U.S. House of Rep. Newt Gingrich, Gov. Mike Pence (R-IN) – Vice-Presidential nominee
- Thursday – Make America One Again
