Local company provides school supplies for 300 kids

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — More than 300 kids will be going to school with new backpacks, school supplies and outfits, thanks to an local company.

Henry Schein Incorporated held its 9th annual Back to School Program on Saturday morning on the northwest side of Indianapolis.

The healthcare distribution company held similar events at 24 other locations around the world.

Indy’s event served students at Eagle Creek Central and Eastbrook Elementary schools.

It also benefited the Department of Child Services, helping provide families with all they need to be ready for the new school year.

A bounce house and face painting were also on hand at Saturday’s event.
