Woman who died in Muncie house fire identified
MUNCIE, Ind. (WISH) — Authorities have released the name of a woman who died in a Muncie house fire Wednesday.
Krista Ullom, 34, was pronounced dead at the scene of the fire on Granville Avenue late Wednesday night, according to Delaware County coroner Scott Hahn.
Hahn said she was identified through a metal plate in her wrist that was put in after Ullom recently broke her arm. The exact cause of her death will likely not be determined until toxicology test results return in four to six weeks.
This was the third deadly central Indiana fire in under three weeks.
On Monday, two children and a teenager died after a Clay County house fire.
Four young children were killed in a house fire Nov. 21 in the small Carroll County town of Flora.
