19-year-old in critical condition following drive-by shooting

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A teen is in critical condition following a shooting on the near northwest side.

Officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Goodlet Avenue — that’s near Lafayette Road and West Kessler Boulevard North Drive — around 4:30 p.m. Sunday on a report of a person shot.

According to officers from Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, a 19-year-old man was shot in the upper thigh during a drive-by shooting.

He was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition.

Suspect information was not available on Sunday evening.
