Police: Skeletal remains found along White River on city’s south side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Skeletal remains were found Wednesday along the White River on the city’s south side.
According to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officer William Young, officers were called to the area of South West and West Raymond streets around 3:30 p.m. on reports of human remains found along the White River.
Responding officers located the skeletal remains in a secluded area along the river and authorities are working to determine more information. The remains could only be accessed by boat, police said.
It is unclear at this time if the remains belong to a female or a male.
