Carmel and Indy hosting Women’s World Cup watch parties
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – On Sunday night the United States will take on Japan in the Women’s World Cup and local soccer fans will be able to cheer them on at one of two watch parties in the city.
The match will begin at 7 p.m. in Vancouver, Canada. Japan beat the United States in the final match four years ago.
One party will be on North Street in downtown Indianapolis. Organizers said fans can watch the Women’s World Cup and the Indy Eleven game on big screen televisions.
The other party will be on Main Street in Carmel on the Monon Trail. Both parties will start at 5 p.m.
