1 killed in crash between truck, train in Hendricks County
HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – One person is dead after a Saturday evening crash between a train and a pickup truck, according to the Brownsburg Fire Department.
Crews say they were initially called to the railroad crossing just south of US 136 on County Road 1000 East just after 11 p.m.
The crash was between a pickup truck and an Amtrak train.
The person killed was in the pickup. There were no injuries from the train.
It’s unclear at this time what led up to the fatal collision.
