Man dead after fatal shooting at taco restaurant

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man in his 20s died in a shooting that began as a fight at a Mexican restaurant specializing in tacos on the north side, police said. 

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was called for a person shot about 9:06 p.m. to Paco’s Taqueria, 4390 N. Keystone Ave. Officers arrived and found the man with apparent gunshot wounds. He died at the scene. 

The two men were in a fight inside the restaurant, and the man who shot the other fled the scene but later turned himself in to police, according to authorities at the scene. The suspect is in police custody.

The identity of the man who died was not immediately released by police.
