Portion of Denver International Airport evacuated due to possible security threat

DENVER – A portion of Denver International Airport was evacuated Tuesday afternoon due to a possible security threat.

Denver police began evacuating the area around 2:30 p.m. The evacuation area includes levels 5 and 6 of the west side of the main terminal between doors 600 and 610.

No vehicle traffic is being allowed on the west side of the terminal.

The east side of the terminal remains open, and flights are continuing as normal, according to airport officials.
