Former Indianapolis prison guard arrested for sex with inmate
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A former Indianapolis women’s prison guard was arrested Monday for having sex with an inmate, according to Indiana State Police.
Lamont Williams, 55, of Indianapolis faces two preliminary counts of sexual misconduct and one count of official misconduct.
Williams had inappropriate contact with a female inmate while he was a guard at Indianan Women’s Prison in July 2015, according to Indiana State Police.
An inmate reported Williams had sexual encounters with her on two different occasions, first in Oct. 2014 and again in Jan. 2015, ISP said.
The inmate saved some of Williams’ DNA during oral sex, helping investigators link him to the crime, a probable cause affidavit stated.
After initially denying the allegations, Williams admitted to the sexual contact, the affidavit said.
Williams is being held at the Marion County Adult Processing Center on a $15,000 bond, the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office said.
