IMPD seeks suspect in Wildflower Court shooting

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Investigators have identified one of three suspects in a shooting where 5 people, including 3 children, were injured.

Investigators with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department have identified 24-year-old Domonique Stone as a suspect in the April 5 shooting in the 5000 block of Wildflower Court.

A warrant has been issued for Stone for burglary, robbery, armed robbery and carrying a handgun without a license.

While investigators are asking for the public’s help in locating Stone, they are advising that Stone should not be approached and should be considered armed and dangerous.

IMPD is continuing to look into leads on the other two suspects.

One suspect was seen getting into a 2002 silver Ford Focus with Indiana plate number WOJ856 before fleeing from the scene.

That vehicle was stolen during a carjacking prior to the shooting.

Anyone with information regarding Stone or the other two suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 262-TIPS (8477).
