Rolling Stones pre-sale tickets go on sale Friday
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – And so it begins – the fight for tickets to see the Rolling Stones rock the Indianapolis Motor Speedway July 4.
IMS officials made the announcement at the end of March on the iconic Yard of Bricks, following days of speculation and coy billboards.
Pre-sale tickets for the show go on sale Friday. For details on that click here. The general public can purchase tickets Monday morning at 10 a.m. The cheapest tickets to the show are $77, and go up to $995 for VIP treatment.
Doug Boles, IMS president, said the speedway would also have a large fireworks show to celebrate Independence Day.
The Stones will play in the infield of IMS in what will be the largest outdoor stage in Indiana history.

In addition to seeing the show and fireworks, fans can camp in Turn 3 at IMS ahead of the show. Camping opens up at 10 a.m. July 3 and people are welcome to camp for two nights. Check out is required at noon July 5. RV camping will cost $200, while vehicle and tent camping is $100.
The Rolling Stones last performed in Indiana in 1994. Low ticket sales are thought to be the reason why they haven’t made it back. But if recent hype is any indication, the rock legends, who have been around for more than 50 years, will give fans some satisfaction.
