Police: Man made meth in storage unit
JENNINGS COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — A man was arrested Wednesday after officials discovered an active meth lab and stolen items in a North Vernon storage shed.
The Columbus Republic reports 33-year-old North Vernon resident Anthony E. Herr was arrested on charges of possession of stolen property and manufacturing meth.
Police said they found a large number of power and hand tools, and an in-use meth lab in the storage shed.
Police said the items found matched the description of tools stolen from four North Vernon businesses in recent weeks.
Herr was taken to Jennings County Jail. He was listed in custody Thursday night and was being held without bond.
