This week Dick got a sneak peak of Blu Point Oyster House as it transforms its building before the grand opening.

As you might expect, the restaurant features seafood and that theme is visually showcased around the building.
“The interior designer had an idea to paint a large skeletal fish, to bring about the nautical and the ocean theme. Now it was my idea to use gold leaf,” said Jon Edwards with Blice Edwards Studios.
Dick came back three weeks later to speak with the owner and to see an update on the renovations.

Blu Point Oyster House is owned by Gino Pizzi, who’s been a restaurateur for over 40 years.
“I remembered I knew this amazing artist that could do anything that’s asked of him, and he did,” said Pizzi.

Blu Point Oyster House is located at 5858 N. College Avenue and plans to open in early March. The restaurant has more information on its website and Facebook page.
