Crash flips vehicle, slows I-70 traffic
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A crash prompted traffic delays on I-70 Wednesday morning on the east side of Indianapolis.
Emergency crews were called to eastbound I-70 at Mitthoeffer Road around 7:30 a.m. At one point, all eastbound lanes were closed and traffic was getting by on the shoulder.
Indiana State Police said a semi and two other vehicles were involved. The impact caused one vehicle to flip over.
One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
