Sunny but more humid Sunday
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH)–A nice evening across the area before heat and humidity return Sunday.
TONIGHT: Skies stay mostly clear across the state. It will be pleasant with humidity remaining low. Temperatures fall into the upper 60s.
SUNDAY: We’ll start off with lots of sunshine during the day on Sunday. Humidity increases throughout the day. It’s going to be hot with highs close to 90. Heat index values climb into the low and middle 90s. A few clouds pop up later in the day, but we’ll stay dry.
SUNDAY NIGHT: Skies become partly cloudy. It will be very muggy and mild with lows falling into the low to middle 70s.
MONDAY: The day will start off dry but showers and thunderstorms pop up later in the afternoon. Some of the storms may be on the stronger side with gusty winds and heavy rainfall. The Storm Prediction Center has much of the area in a marginal risk of severe weather. Be sure to stay weather aware in the afternoon. Highs climb into the upper 80s close to 90.
8DAY FORECAST: We’re in store for a pretty quiet week. There’s a chance for a few isolated showers during the afternoon hours but we’ll see plenty of dry time. Highs stay in the middle 80s for Tuesday and Wednesday and then drop into the lower 80s for the end of the week and next weekend.
