Storms return Monday
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH)–Mild and muggy tonight with storms return on Monday.
TONIGHT: We’ll see a few clouds around the area with mild and muggy conditions. Lows fall into the low to middle 70s.
MONDAY: Monday will start off dry but clouds begin to increase for the afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms pop during the afternoon as a cold front approaches the state. Some of the thunderstorms may be on the stronger side.
The Storm Prediction Center has much of central Indiana under a marginal risk that storms may reach severe criteria. Heavy rainfall and gusty winds will be the main threats.
It stays humid through much of the day on Monday with highs climbing into the upper 80s.
MONDAY NIGHT: Showers and thunderstorms will continue throughout the evening. Lows fall into the upper 60s and humidity values slowly begin to drop.
TUESDAY: Less humid air moves into central Indiana by Tuesday. Look for partly cloudy skies with highs in the middle 80s.
8DAY FORECAST: It looks like the temperatures begin to drop for the rest of the week. Highs stay in the ow to middle 80s with low humidity. There’s a few chances for showers and storms in the afternoon but they looked scattered in nature.
