Tippecanoe County keeps restrictions at restaurants, bars, nightclubs until further notice
LAFAYETTE, In. (WISH) — The Tippecanoe County Health Department announced Friday restaurant and bar restrictions will remain in effect throughout the county despite Gov. Eric Holcomb’s move to allow Indiana counties to transition to Stage 5 of reopening.
Health officials in Tippecanoe County say restrictions at bars and restaurants will remain in effect until further notice. Restaurant capacity will continue to be limited to 75% capacity both indoors and outdoors.
Bar capacity will continue at 50% capacity. Dance floors are not allowed to be used. Restaurants, bars and nightclubs must close no later than midnight and reopen no earlier than 5 a.m.
The hour restrictions do not apply to drive-thru, curbside or delivery services.
Social distancing is still required at all establishments.
Holcomb on Wednesday also extended the state’s mask mandate until Oct. 17.
