Preparing Indianapolis for the College Football Playoff

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We’re about four months away from a major event in Indianapolis.

Our city is hosting the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship on Jan. 10 at Lucas Oil Stadium.

WISH-TV is the official local broadcast partner of the 2022 College Football Playoff (CFP) Indianapolis Host Committee.

Bill Hancock, CFP Executive Director, joined Daybreak on Monday morning to discuss what has gone into the planning and why Indianapolis was chosen.

“You look in cities, you look for airports, you look for hotels, you look for venues, stadiums, convention centers – Indianapolis has it all,” Hancock said. “And the greatest thing though about Indianapolis is the people, the, the warmth, the passion for sports for college sports
