Pedestrian struck by vehicle sent to hospital in critical condition
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Just before 3 a.m., a female was struck in the 200 block of South Meridian Street.
The victim was transported to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition.
The suspect then fled the scene, but the suspect’s vehicle was found near I-70 W and Harding Street.
Police say impairment is believed to have played a role in the incident.
The incident remains under investigation.
