Kolache Factory’s ‘Create a New Kolache’ contest kicks off

The fourth annual Create a New Kolache contest is now underway through June 15! Local foodies are challenged to put their skills to the test with a brand new flavor, and the gold, silver, and bronze medal winners will win free breakfast for a year.

Lan Haywood, West Carmel Kolache Factory owner, joined us today to tell us more about the growing bakery franchise. Last year’s winner of the Create a New Kolache contest happened to be from Noblesville, Indiana!

The Kolache Factory will choose five finalists nationwide where their stores are located. Then, the public will vote online in a social media contest.
